This week the Wanderers went to the annual Cardiff & Vale Under 11's District Festival. We were drawn in Group C along with Llandaff North and St Josephs, our opening pool match was against a relatively unknown Llandaff North side the game was a fast with the wanderers forwards and backs both working together as a unit tackling rucking and defending to keep Llandaff North from scoring, Megan Jones opened the scoring for the wanderers with a wonderful solo run breaking 2 tackles to crash over. 2nd half started much as the 1st with both sides canceling each other out with there style of open running rugby but it took a wonderful break by James Baldwin who off loaded to Harrison Stratford with Call um Witco at his shoulder harrison drew the man to off load before being tackled to Callum Whitcombe who had an easy run in for wanderers 2nd try.
